This is a beautiful television. It is thin, sleek, and stylish, and that's when it's not even turned on. It can be wall mounted or stood on a tv stand. It is Sony's newest LCD flat panel tv and measures in at 46 inches. It offers 1080p HD resolution. The tv has 3 HDMI spots, 2 in the back and one on the side. It has 3 composite video inputs, and 2 component inputs. It also has 1 PC video input.
You can label your inputs as a dvd player or game, but you can't specify what type of game system, which would be nice since many people will have more than one game console connected.

The remote it comes with fits well in your hand and seems easy to use. It is backlit, but not all of the buttons are labeled, so some of the backlit buttons aren't really usable unless you remember what they are since they don't have any words on them.

There are tons of options with this tv through the easy to use menu system. Cinemotion and Motionflow are some great options, but make sure not to use them if the input to the tv already does. You have the option to change the warmth of the image

The tv has a picture and picture mode which since it has a 16:9 ratio appears quite nicely on the screen with two pictures next to each other. The high resolution and the way the tv calibrates and adjusts the input makes everything look just right. The detail is superb and the smoothness is great. It doesn't remove any of the frames when it displays the signal and offers a truly amazing signal.

There is a parent lock option which seems to work fine. You can block channels. The only thing that is annoying is that as you go through channels scrolling down it tries to find a signal on every one. If you want to scroll down far on the channel list this can be a little tedious. But one thing about the channels is that is was very easy to get all the digital channels automatically.

You have the option to use the TV speakers or an external audio system. The in tv speakers seemed to work quite well with a crisp sound.

Overall this is an expensive tv, but Sony has done a wonderful job making this a tv well worth owning.
