A Motorcycle Review of the Honda Shadow Spirit 750: One of the Prettiest Retro Bikes Around- What's Keeping You?
Honda has always been known by its beautifully scalped motorcycles that just seem to fit riders. Nowhere is this truer than in Honda's middle weight range of bikes. Stylish and practical, the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 embodies all that is cool about
motorcycles. Honda built the Shadow Spirit 750 to be a practical, classy machine with styling that just can't be matched by other manufacturers. Add to that the absolutely rock solid reputation of the Honda 750 engine, and you have what can credibly be called the ideal cruising motorcycle. They didn't just stop there with the Honda Shadow Spirit 750, however. To top it all off, the Honda Shadow spirit 750 also sports some fresh from the factory flames on its tank, as well. Put the nail in the coffin, this bike's ready to roll.
Backed by the Practically unbreakable Honda 745cc liquid cooled 52-degree V-twin engine with SOHC and three valves per cylinder, the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 makes plenty of power for commuting or cruising, but isn't so big that it couldn't be handled by a beginning rider if they chose. A wide-ratio five speed transmission and shaft final drive ensure that the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 has plenty of power for longer rides at highway speeds, though for regular touring, the Honda Shadow Aero might be a better fit. Still, the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 does well with a few miles under it.
Priced at about $6,999, you could look around for a more stylish motorcycle, but you'd be paying a premium for it if you did find one. Available colors are the Candy Dark Red/Metallic Silver, Pearl White/Silver Pinstripe, Pearl Black/Red Pinstripe, or Black. The white and black versions are the bikes which come with the flamed tanks, and those will set you back $7,299 if you can't live without one.
