If tea bags are steeped in boiling water for 5 minutes the caffine is steeped out. You will have few problems afterward if you are sensitive to caffien. FYI

Im deffinatly disagreeing, even my dermatoligists said green tea is one of the best things you can drink to clear up your face but it all depends on the person, personally, I dont breakout from caffine, I breakout if I eat foods with alot of butter, or red meat. After I cut those foods out, and I've been drinking like 6 cups of green tea a day, it deffinatly cleared my skin up completly in just a week.

I took accutane as a teenager and it worked like nothing else I had tried. Now when I come into contact with green tea products or tea tree products, I have a massive flare ups on my face. Anyone else find this connection?

Erm i disagree with the above post, drinking green tea is this best thing i have ever done for my skin. i only drink it once a day before school and i can tell you my skin has improved soo much it has made SUCH a difference, i used to use oxy cream which hade benzoyl in it but that dried my skin out too much and made it worse, green tea is absolutly amazing i would recommend it to anyone. it doesnt even taste that bad if you get ones that have flavourings such as lemon, and its so healthy too without any side effects.

Tea is the WORST thing you can have if you suffer from Acne Rosacea. Caffeine is the #1 reason for breakouts among sufferers, and I recommend abstaining from all food products that have caffeine, whether naturally occurring or artificial. I suffered from severe Rosacea until I found the link between caffeiene and my breakouts. My skin looks much better now and the flareups, gritty eyes and massive pustules are gone.
