A Great Heart-centered Family Event

If you're looking for something a little off beat to do in November, why not take a trip up the mountain to Idyllwild? Those who are wisest will already have their tickets purchased to attend the First Annual Idyllwild Drum and Dance From Your Heart event. Kids will have special activities planned just for them while the older kids (12 and up) will have a chance to explore the various modes of percussion through drumming and belly dancing (no costume required).

The New Age event, which is the first of its kind in recent memory will serve as a bridge to bring people together to unite as one voice to help bring peace, love, and healing to our world. The entire family is welcome--and there will be a gourmet vegetarian meal following the drumming session and snacks and refreshments will be available the entire time. A special kids' drum & dance circle with crafts and supervised playtime will be available for the 10 and under crowd depending on interest.

Adults are $35 and kids under 12 are just $10, and we're offering a family pack of four (two adults and two kids under 12) for a very affordable $75 that includes an entire afternoon of drumming, dancing, community building and a wonderful gourmet vegetarian meal. The day will round out with a crystal bowl meditation and closing circle.

Directions: From Hemet: Hwy 74 toward Idyllwild, veer left at Hwy 243. Take 243 to the center of Idyllwild, turn right North Circle (at the corner across from the Chevron Station) , pass JoAn's continue up North Circle to Cedar and turn right. Town Hall is at the end of the street on the right hand side.
