Music Producer Timbaland Moves to Movies in "Vinyl"
singer-musician-songwriter-rapper-producer is ready to test out the movie waters once more.

Timbaland is going to be executive producing the movie "Vinyl," teaming with Duly Noted Inc. to produce the film. The movie was written by Richard Zelniker and will be directed by him as well while Effie T. Brown of Duly Noted Inc., Timbaland's wife and Marcus Spence will be producing it.

The movie "Vinyl" will be a storyline about five women who will face challenges and relationships with their rockstar boyfriends that could potentially be life changing. Brown being on board is a relatively new experience for her as well, only having produced two independent Sundance films, including one with Ugly Betty star America Ferrera. Production on the movie will begin in April.

This will be the first time Timbaland will executive produce. However this is not the first film he's worked on. He was just one of many names producing on the 2001 movie "30 Years to Life." The movie was about a group of friends growing old and not getting any more mature.
