Valentine's Day is coming soon and if you're like me, you always wait until the last minute to start thinking about what you should do for the occasion. Many men buy their loved ones chocolate of fifteen different variants, childish bears with hearts on their bodies, six foot tall roses, and colorful cards to show their love. Women usually buy their lover boys nice sweaters to keep warm with, sports tickets to keep them entertained and maybe even their favorite artist's new CD. While I do believe that these choices of gifts are all fine and dandy, they seem to be extracted from the pool of clichéd endowments that come with the holiday.

There are plenty of unique and original ways to remind your significant other that you love them. When they receive a gift that is unlike anything they expected, they'll perceive you as someone who cares a great deal for them because you put some thought into what you believe they deserved. Your gift doesn't always have to be breathtaking but I think that it is important that you don't settle for chocolate candy and flowers. In the following paragraphs, I would like to give up some good ideas I have for this Valentine's Day of 2007.

The first thing I would advise is trying to get your other half a different bouquet of flowers. Roses are good but everybody expects roses around this time. Try getting some tulips, lilies, or any other type of beautiful flower. A lot of the other types of flowers are also cheaper and more plentiful. Ask your local florist for other good choices and look around to see what you like. Try to step outside the crowd and do something different for a change.

Takeaways
  • It'd prolly be better to get your valentine flowers other than roses.
  • Chocolate is like sooo cliche.
  • Try to make a nice meal for your loved one.
Did You Know?
Every year, it would probably be a good idea to become a better valentine. You are giving your partner stronger a reason to love you and this is the day to make those feelings stick.
