There is different kinds of onions. There are mainly two types of onions: one is used for dehydration and other is user for fresh market. Onions for dehydration should be planted in 2 inch deep furrows for the quality onion which is helped to made dehydration product well in quality.

There are different kinds of onions like, white onions, red onions, toasted onions..which are going to several dehydration process and then served to the market...in different forms. According to laboratory analysis, Extra Low quality for counts up to 100.000 on TPC and/or 240 Coliforms,
 No E.coli or Salmonella, agreed limits for B. Cereus, S. Aureus, Perfringens, Moulds, Yeasts and Total Mesophilic anaerobes.

Dehydrated onions are produced by removing water from the raw onion to a maximum level of 85%. Onions are dehydrated without balancing or addicting of sulfites so that the enzyme systems that develop the onion flavor. Dehydrated onion is more usefull than the raw onion. There are several kinds of dehydrated onion products are available in the market.. Here are the few products...Dehydrated Onion Kibbled, Dehydrated Onion Minced, Dehydrated Onion Granules, Dehydrated Onion Rings, Dehydrated Onions Powder.
