You've just wrapped up an exhausting week at the office/factory/store, and you're pretty sure you know what's going to happen this Friday night: That's right, you're going to drink. Probably you're going to drink a lot. And if everything works out right, by the end of the evening you'll have stylishly and oh-so-comically/romantically removed the top of a particular hottie you've been spying on for the past couple of weeks or so. Before you can start planning your Saturday-morning breakfast menu (more on that later), you've got to figure out how to get from point A to point B, point A being you, in front of your mirror, gussied up in your Prada or your Wranglers, your Puma or your Levi's, depending on which way you lean, and point B being, well, Saturday morning's breakfast. It's a long and winding road to your destination, paved with anywhere from a couple to a couple dozen love-conjuring beverages, so you're going to need to know just a little bit about what you're doing. Is there a magical combination of brews and spirits to get to that swimmingly perfect place for boozy love? Surely it differs from person to person, but if you take some kind to consider the world of drinks at your disposal, and if you consume them according to a few basic principles, you stand a pretty good chance of enhancing your drunken game and making the most of your late-night gettin'-it-on.

Takeaways
  • Have one before you go out, if you earned it.
  • Drink cheap beer; it saves money and won't get you wasted.
  • Don't forget to have an emergency breakfast plan.
