Dr Pepper Keeps Free Soda Promise

Dr Pepper is delivering on it's promise to give everyone in the United States a free Dr Pepper in the event that Guns N' Roses released the long-awaited album "Chinese Democracy" this year. Fans have been waiting for the album's release since work on it began in

 1994, and it finally goes on sale this Sunday, Nov. 23.

Coupons will be available on the Dr Pepper website beginning at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, and will be available for 24 hours. The coupons will be good for a free 20 oz. Dr Pepper, and they can be used until Feb. 28.

In a statement released to the press, Tony Jacobs, vice president of marketing for Dr Pepper, said, "We never thought this day would come, but now that it's here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper's on us."

Chinese Democracy will be sold at exclusively at Best Buy. You can hear songs from the album now on Guns N' Roses' Myspace page, at myspace.com/gunsnroses.
