Punta-Cana Bavaro, as it's known by the locals, is known as a long, beautiful stretch where the public can seek refuge. Playa Bahoruco is one of the most popular beaches in the country. It stands as the perfect stretch of untouched Caribbean land. With gorgeous rock coves on either side of the long stretch of sand, it's both gorgeous and functional. If you want to go swimming here, take some swimming shoes because it can be rocky. You'll want to watch out for extremely strong undercurrents, which can be dangerous for younger or weaker swimmers.
