If you have ever wondered if you checked over every detail that would bother you about leaving your child in a preschool, here are some tips. Have you ever noticed the difference between an organized preschool and one that is not under control? If you walk into a preschool and there is a child standing on top of a toy, ready to fall, that's a pretty good sign the teachers aren't very good and don't send your child there!

What I noticed was if you are standing where the teachers can see you, they may act differently. So when you walk in, stand outside the door. Try to stand around the corner so they don't see you walk up and just listen for a minute. I actually went to one that the woman was spanking her own child in front of the other kids and she saw me standing there! That was my clue to leave immediately. Also, look at the kids. A good preschool would have the children wash their hands after they eat. So, if they're wearing their food on their faces, they aren't teaching them everything they should be. The little things are the things you really want to watch out for. If the kids are organized, happy, and healthy, then that is what you want.

Obviously, one of the most important details is how much your child is learning. My child learned Spanish and sign language in preschool! Don't forget those manners either! It makes a big difference as to how much it well help them when they start kindergarten. Another tip is to look at the floors, the walls, and the bathrooms. Obviously, you do not want your child in a preschool that has cobwebs, mold, or dried up food on the walls or floors. I am not saying the place has to look perfect but for your child to be safe and healthy, it should be noticeably clean.
