The New and Improved SVMHMP Group!

Finding a play group for your child can be hard sometimes. Often times finding a play group for your child involves a lot of searching and testing the waters and it can often be very discouraging if you don't get the results you wish to achieve.

There are several options in the Simi Valley and Moorpark area for a play group but none quite compare to the Simi Valley and Moorpark Hip Mamas N' Papas play group. SVMHMP has been an active play group for two years and has an consistent core group of forty members. 

SVMHMP offers membership to Mothers, Fathers, and even Grandparents. They actively encourage family involvement in activities. The group is open to stay at home parents or working parents, anyone who has a child between the age of 0 and 5 is welcome to join.

On average there are 30 to 40 events on the calendar for members to participate in. Events range from Park Play Time to In Home Play Dates. They also have educational play time and group trips to various local attractions.

This group is different because it allows their members to create and add events to the calendar, encouraging active participation in the make up of the groups activities. And best of all, it's FREE!

The group is run based solely on donations of materials, ideas, and event locations. They also take monetary donations to help with purchase of group gifts, parties and other promotional expenses. Donations are all on a voluntary basis and not mandatory.
