Teen Trend Magazine, a teen magazine that is in its sixth issue of publication, brings the 2007 Prom Showcase Series to The Vault in Columbus, OH on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 2:00 - 5:00. Dresses from Alyce Designs and Cleo's Bridal and Formal will be modeled by two teens coming from New York and five other teenagers that live in the Columbus area. Tuxedos from After Hours Formalwear will be modeled by two male models from New York, and Teen Trend is currently looking for five other guys to model at the showcase in the Columbus area.

New Pop Artist Shaun Barker will be performing a song from his upcoming album. Candice Cain, Editor-in-Chief of Teen Trend, will be the co-emcee along with a surprise celebrity guest. Attendees, who are invited to register for free, will receive a large goody bag filled with all sorts of free stuff, including chocolate, lapel pins, postcards, stickers and more. Plus, there will be a lot of prizes given out throughout the fashion show.

Exhibitors that will be at the 2007 Heartland Prom Showcase include DJ Toad (who will also be providing the music for the fashion show), Platinum Music Djs, Orchids and Ivy, and many more. Attendees are invited to visit with all of the local exhibitors, who will help them plan for prom or any other formal occasions they have coming up.

Teen Trend is a magazine that focuses on wholesome values and positive images for teenagers. "The best thing about this magazine," says publisher Juliette Marotta, "is that we use real teenagers to model for us. This results in a more positive body image for the teens that read the magazine." Such is the case for the teens that model for Teen Trend. "I never thought of myself as a model," says 14-year-old Michelle. "I'm short and not exactly stick-thin. But, there are so many other girls out there that have the same body I do. It's good that there is a magazine shows clothes that look good on me!"
