Sneak Peek: Brandy Will Release Long-Awaited Album Human in December

Brandy has finally been able to move on from her incident years ago that put her out of the music spotlight for the time being. On December 9th, she will release her fifth studio album titled Human.

The singer has been at work on her album on and off since 2005 and stayed at it over the course of this year once the drama of an accident was put behind her. Moving on, she teamed up with several producers including hitmakers Timbaland,

Kara DioGuardi (Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson, Christina Aguilera), and Claude Kelly. Natasha Bedingfield lent her hand at writing the final track on the album as well, giving Brandy an all-star line-up and a green light to make a splash on the music scene again.

Opening with Human, she speaks about being yourself and not being afraid. The intro is only 19 seconds but offers insight to staying true to oneself. Brandy then goes into "The Definition," a song built around a mainstream appeal that is currently passing through. It's about finding the right meaning in someone.

"Right Here (Departed)" is a catchy R&B hip-hop tune. "When your life is going too fast off the train tracks/ I can slow it down... I'll be your ground," she sings before letting the person know she'll be right there when things aren't going well. Being trapped and not able to breathe, she'll breathe for them and bust through the walls that block them from the world. The track lets us know Brandy is still a great singer and is ready to do what she loves best.

Brandy has always sung ballads beautifully and on this record, "True" is no different. Nor is "Long Distance," a ballad that opens with a piano. The song is about the heartbreak of being away from someone you love. She has a picture in a frame that she looks at everyday. So far away, she's hurting inside wishing they were with her. They're stuck where they're at while the hours feel like days. Soon, she will be coming home and she's looking forward to the moments she will share again.
