Why Nicole Richie Should Go Out with Ludacris and Where They Should Go

Fans of "The Simple Life" television show have come to love Nicole Richie, the famed daughter of pop/R&B singer, Lionel Richie. On the show, her gleeful antics and cherubic grin have delighted millions. What has not delighted millions, however, is Nicole's controversial rail-thin figure, and brushes with the law. Her troubled lifestyle has been the subject of magazine headlines, more than any one professional accomplishment she's achieved.

Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, one of Atlanta's renowned kings of crunk music, has been known for his colorful lyrics as much as his philanthropic efforts. His name has only been linked to public controversy on one or two occasions. And usually the instances tend to blow over quickly. As a matter of fact, Ludacris has enjoyed a huge amount of success over the years. So what could this flippant, yet shrewd artist do for the overwrought, Nicole Richie?

WHY THEY SHOULD GO OUT

Nicole is obviously a party girl. She's been known to toss back the liquor, and has even had trouble with a few other substances. Her latest brush with the law left her in tears, as she was arrested for driving down the wrong side of a highway in Burbank. The arrest resulted in a DUI for Nicole, and a cause for some deep soul-searching. Ludacris has kept much of his personal life out of the tabloids. With much of the attention surrounding him revolving around his musical and acting career, he appears to be a decent choice for Nicole. His snappy sense of humor, and urban flair is just what Nicole needs to reconnect with her "roots." She's spent so much time being around people who expect her to be one thing or another, she needs a little reminder of where she's come from, and who she is: the daughter of black parents.

While there is nothing wrong with dating people of all races, it seems apparent that Nicole's current lifestyle is doing her no good. By dating someone who is able to maintain his cool image while keeping his finger on the pulse of success, Nicole just might see some light at the end of the tunnel.
