Come for a wonderfully romantic weekend in the Village of Corrales, a historic Spanish farming village located south of Santa Fe, New Mexico, nestled below the breathtaking Sandia Mountains.

The Village offers unique and charming alternatives for art, shopping and dining. Hundreds of artists and craftsmen reside in Corrales, and their creations are available in the galleries and shops located along Corrales Road. There are two wineries within the Village. The Village is a wonderful escape from the fast paced urban areas and the overwhelming crowds of Santa Fe.

The Chocolate Turtle Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful destination for your overnight stay in this unique pastoral village. The B&B is located at 1098 West Meadowlark Lane in Corrales (505 899-1800). Their website is www.chocolateturtlebb.com.

The Chocolate Turtle provides a warm, comfortable, relaxed environment for you stay. The B&B is a southwestern style home located in a pastoral setting on one and one-half acres. Bright southwestern colors provide the background for the local art, including Native American pottery, wood carvings, paintings and rugs through the B&B.

The B&B is surrounded by gardens of native plants and a large patio provides a perfect setting to enjoy the surrounding Southwestern landscape. The view of the Sandia Mountains from the patio is truly breathtaking. Native wildlife on the property includes birds, bunnies, quail and roadrunners. They are a delight to watch.

The Chocolate Turtle offers wonderful amenities. A wonderful full gourmet breakfast is served each morning and complimentary snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Free wireless internet access is available, as well Cable TV with premium channels, newspapers and Southwestern magazines. The inn is open year 'round and is air-conditioned.

The unique rooms available at the B&B have private baths and colorful Southwestern décor. Fresh flowers, hairdryers, alarm clocks and, of course, chocolate turtles are provided in each room.
