My dogs love it when I give them a present. If I buy them a new toy and give it to them as I walk into the door it really makes them happy. Every day they get some milk bones to enjoy. If I know I will be away from home for more then four hours I like to give them a raw hide. It gives them something to do while I am gone and they love it. Attention is what they want the most from me and I like to give it to them.

I have three dogs and they all have different personalities even though two of them are related they are very different. One of them likes to play a lot and the other one doesn't care for it all that much. The third dog loves to play more then anyone I know. I try to give them lots of toys. Giving a dog toys makes them feel loved and helps them feel secure. A dog that is bored can be a naughty dog. If you have a naughty dog it is because the dog is bored and doesn't get enough attention. It also can mean that the dog is insecure. We all want to feel secure and by giving your dog toys it can give them security. Even if the dog isn't really interested in playing with toys having some toys will help the dog feel like it belongs.

The toys you buy at the store for your dog are wonderful and dogs love them when they squeak. Tug of war toys are good for you and your dog and help to build a strong relationship with your dog. Dogs like to have a variety of toys just like any kids does. I try to get as many different toys for my dogs as I can. That includes making some of the toys.

One of my dogs favorite toys is socks. Making sock toys is extremely easy and you dog will love them. To make sock toys for my dogs I take three or more old socks that I no longer need and I just tie them together into a long sock rope. My dogs love to chew on them and play tug of war with them with me and with each other. They love the sock toys because they smell like me. I have previously worn the socks and so they are like being close to me. At first I worried about my dogs chewing on my good socks but they never have.

I agree with Mathilde! Frogs, Hermit Crabs, and other animals [like butterflies or somthing else wild] should be living free! I played with a frog outside but I didn't keep it! It is SO unfare and cruel. But anyways, I came here to ask for "pawsome" dog toys. Homemade please! No complicated projects, just simple, yet fun and brilliant, little toys. It can't be an old sock or a water bottle, though. My dog chewed through a mini tire! He is N-U-T-S! Nuts! He even chewed the wall. He's a rat when it comes to chewing. Rats actually can chew through pure steel! I bet my dog could beat ANYONE in a chewing contest any day! I need a durable, fun, easy-to-make, and just plain great toy for dogs! Thanks You Guys!
