According to the website at www.chinesefortunecalendar.com/2007.htm, the year of 2007 is a "Red Fire Pig Year", yet states that this year's female pig is in the water group. I don't understand how water can be on fire - unless there's burning gasoline on top of it. This year of 2007 is supposed to be extra fortuitous pig year becuase it is a red pig, which comes only once every 60 years. The last red pig was in 1947. So what is the story about the year 2007 being the year of the golden pig? Can something really be so rare that it happens only once every 600 years? For some Koreans, 2007 is expected to be a lucky one to be born in. A rise in the birthrate of ten percent is expected. The "Korea Times" have already labeled this hope in anticipated wealth as foolish. I think it's a typo of 600 instead of the correct 60 and marketing cashed in by preying on people's ardent hopes.I bought a $1 'golden' pig just in case. I'm like that coward Beni in the movie, "The Mummy". When the little weasel meets up with the mummy he retreats backwards while pulling out one religious icon at a time, reciting blessings in different languages, trying to protect himself from the mummy. He had an English Christian Crucifix, an Arabic Islamic Sword & Crescent Moon, a Hindi Brahma, a Chinese Buddhist Bodhisattva and a Hebrew Star of David.
