These vitamins are specially made for pregnant women, with all the nutrients that a growing baby and its mother need. When you're choosing a prenatal vitamin, make sure that it has plenty of folic acid in it. This is by far the most important ingredient in a prenatal vitamin. Your doctor will probably prescribe a prenatal vitamin for you, and that will contain all the folic acid you need to have a healthy pregnancy.
Another thing you can do to have a healthy pregnancy is to try and keep your stress level down. I know that this is easier said than done, but it really is important. Some pregnant women suffer from pregnancy induced high blood pressure, and being stressed just makes it worse. If you're overwhelmed with your other children or your housework, ask for help. This is supposed to be your time to shine, and people should be more than willing to help. I'm sure they know that it's important for you to have a healthy pregnancy. Also, don't sweat the small stuff. It's not getting worked up over something small when it risks you and your unborn child's health.
