Why O.J. Simpson Wrote His How I Might Have Done It Book

Just the thought of O.J. Simpson can be enough to turn stomachs and suppress appetites. In fact, if they could bottle his persona into a diet formula, it would likely work wonders to encourage people to avoid food. He is quite simply that disgusting. With all of the controversy surrounding his "scrapped" tell-all book, he is once again becoming a headline in the news. The terribly sad part of the entire issue is that Simpson being in the news, smirking that "I might have done it this way" or "let me show you how to be a murderer" glare, must be devastating to the families of both his ex-wife and Goldman. These poor families must endure the constant presence of Simpson in the news.
Simpson always claimed he wanted to protect his children from the media's perception of him being a murderer. So, it is quite confusing that he would place himself in the position of being a murderer (whether for fictional purposes or not) without the reporters being responsible.
He claims he did it for the money, just as he claimed he did the television show that failed just last year. If this is indeed the case, it is unfortunate that a man could be so desperate for cash that he makes himself look so pitiful and hopeless. It is almost as if O.J. Simpson is enjoying his "rep" as being a dangerous "possible" murderer.
It would be intelligent for the media to completely ignore the ignorant Simpson and to force him to make money they way most Americans do, with a "real" job. Wouldn't it be dandy to see O.J. Simpson doing construction work or even working at a fast food restaurant, just to make ends meet? Talk about justice!
It could be that O.J. Simpson is finally succumbing to the guilt he has harbored for years now. Often times those who murder will untruth their way through court, out of fear. Of course they do this to avoid any possible jail time, or in worse cases, execution.

When will the media stop fostering O.J. Simpson's bad rep and in turn his bank account?
