Pretty much everyone would like to find a way to work at home and get out of the morning rat race. You could work in your pajamas all day if you felt like it! That would be a pretty good situation to be in if you can make it happen. First you actually have to make a decision that this is something you actually want to do. As much as we'd like to all think that working from home would be easy street, there are some drawbacks. Often time's home workers feel cooped up and don't get out much. There's also a very blurred line between your home life and your work life. If you have made the decision that yes, this is something that you want to do, continue reading to learn how to move in that direction.

If you really want to work at home, it's going to take some work to get there. You have to promise that you are going to do what it takes in order to achieve that goal. Don't bother making a promise to do something if you don't actually plan on doing everything that it takes in order to achieve that promise.

Consider the last time you made a promise. Did you keep it and do what you promised your self you did? If you did, you are probably the right person to work at home, because you can motivate your self to do something. If you can't keep promises to your self, and instead just put things off for later, you are probably not the right person to be in a work at home setting. The reason for this is because you have to be able to motivate your self to do work, rather than being hounded by managers all day to get things done. You will have to learn to be able to supervise yourself

This is perhaps the biggest problem that home business people face today. If you refer 5,000 people to a home business program such as Quixtar, and teach them everything they need to know to refer people and make a lot of money, 100% of them will sound excited in the beginning, and just a month later, about 5% of them will actually be left. So much stuff gets unfinished in the world, including books, business plans, training courses and the like. People can't keep them selves focused in motivated.
