This is a list of the Worst Christmas Gifts for your Wife. I am a wife and my poor husband has the worst gift giving ability. Sadly he is one of those people who want to search for the perfect gift then is never satisfied so he ends up buying the first thing he can grab. If you are one of those men, then this article is dedicated to you.

For any gift you buy your wife please try to rack your brain for her dislikes, likes, and size so you will not end up buying one of these gifts.

Do not buy your wife size 12 house slippers (or any shoes) when she wears a size 7. Nothing is more unfortunate than ripping open the Christmas gift you know holds the house slippers you have been waiting on, for a big pair of boat shoes to fall out. Please check you wife's shoe size prior to buying shoes.

Do not buy your wife a maternity shirt when she is not pregnant. Please ask an associate for help to avoid a big fight that will follow if you buy this gift. Remember to check her shirt size prior to going to the store. Your wife will not enjoy opening this Christmas gift in front of the family.

Do not buy your wife cheap earrings, especially if she is allergic to them. She will appreciate the thought, but not the swollen ear lobes an hour after wearing them. Please find out her preferences of jewelry or allergies before buying. I am not saying you have to buy her high priced jewelry you can not afford, just nickel free earrings if she is allergic to nickel.

Do not buy your wife a new set of pots and pans when she hates cooking. Be realistic, this gift was more for you than her. If your wife does like cooking by all means buy the pot and pans set. If she does not like cooking avoid this gift entirely.

Do not buy your wife a candle in a scent she has never used or does not like. I love scented candles but I just did not understand the "freshly mowed grass" scented candle my husband bought. Your safest bet husbands would be to find out what scent is already in the house and get something similar to that.
