Imaginiff: A Fun Game for Small Parties

Well, have you ever wondered what your friends think of you? I'm not talking about confronting them and asking them to give you a serious evaluation of your friendship or anything. Instead how about having them tell you what type of car they'd think you would be if you were a car, or what
type of cartoon character your personality most closely resembles? If you'd like a fun way like that for your friends to tell you what they think of you, then Imaginiff is the perfect game for you and your group of friends.

To play the game get together with a group of up to eight of your friends. The game can be played with three players but it's best with six to eight. On each person's turn they will roll the die and move around the playing board. The playing board consists of spaces where you've written each of the different players' names on. When you land on a person's name you pull a question card from the deck. They are in a variety of topics and include six multiple choice answers. For example one would be, "Which of the following cartoon characters does (enter the person's name here)'s personality most relate to? Choices would be like 1. Yogi Bear 2. Fred Flintstone 3. Shaggy 4. Scooby Doo 5. George Jetson 6. Homer Simpson. Everyone would then vote for their answer using the voting cards, including both the person that read the question and the person that the question is about.

After everyone has voted with their cards face down the answers are flipped over in front of them. Anyone voting for the most popular answer gets to move one space. The reader of the question (not the person the question is about), gets to move two spaces if they get the answer correct. There are also playing cards you can acquire during the game that will allow you to move bonus spaces if you are in the majority (you must play them when you vote, not after). There are also challenge spaces where you can choose a partner to play with. If the two of you match the same answer you each move three spaces forward, if you are wrong you both move backwards.

  • Always fun to find out what type of dessert your friends think you would be!
  • Make sure everyone agrees not to take it personally when they hear the answers, the game is for fun!
  • Works best for a group of 6-8, honestly I wouldn't play it with just 3-4 players even though it says you can.
