Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2008 and 2009 Grammy Nominations to Air on CBS

Wednesday Night Will Feature the 2009 Grammy Nominations Show at 9pm Followed by the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at 10pm

Tonight is a big night in television, as CBS will be airing a live showing of the 2009 Grammy Award Nominations, in which the Grammy nominees will be announced to the world. The 2009 Grammy Nominees will be announced during a special that CBS is airing at 9pm Pacific and Eastern. Following that, CBS will be showing the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show where all of the Victoria's Secret Angels will model the new styles for the 2008 and 2009 fashion seasons. The popular lingerie show has always received good ratings, and will hope to bring in even more viewers that have tuned in to hear who the latest nominees for Grammy Awards end up being

CBS is looking to really capitalize on viewing tuning in to the network for both shows, and will be setting up a lot of publicity for the announcements of the 51st annual Grammy Awards. The awards show itself won't be till early 2009, but the hope is to create excitement and buzz through a live concert even where the stars of music should be coming out to support the Grammy Awards and its star-studded Grammy Nomination Concert.

A couple of the artists who have been announced as participating in the Grammy Nomination Ceremony are country sensation Taylor Swift, song-bird Mariah Cary, The Foo Fighters, John Mayer, and the great B.B. King. The show will air at 9pm in both the pacific and Eastern Time zones, and hopes to score a huge ratings success.

At 10pm, CBS will follow the Grammy Nomination Show with the latest Victoria Secret Fashion Show, this one celebrating 2008 with the styles that are sure to become popular in 2009.

The 2008 fashion show for Victoria's Secret was filmed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel on November 15th, and not only features the best models in the Angels arsenal, but R&B singer Usher who will be pumping out the music for the catwalks. The night of high heels and fashion will show off the latest fashions worn by Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr, Marisa Miller, and Doutzen Kroes.
