Kitty Vs. Bat Story; Nacho the Kitty Catches Me a Gift

It's been a late night studying, working, and writing so I hit the hay at around 12 a.m. A couple of months ago I adopted a kitten that had been found in a large dumpster in Peoria, Illinois. I am not a cat person by any means, but the size of my apartment limits my choice of pets. I
had come to the inclusion that my kitten was insane due to her overly energetic nature and persistance in shaking closed doors with her paws, doing laps down the hall, and biting my neck when I'm sleeping. It may just be that the kitty is in 'heat' so I will have to get her spade, but that's another story. I am not prejudiced towards insane kittens. Due to her aggressive nature I named the kitty Nacho after the movie Nacho Libre. Nacho is a Calico kitty black and orange in color.... Ok so I have a crazy kitten, anyways back to the story.

I went to sleep at 12 a.m. only to wake up at 4 a.m. I heard Nacho making strange sounds in my room. Since as I explained earlier that she is not exactly normal I disgarded her noises and attempted to snooze back off. About five seconds later I heard a loud shrieking sound that was not Nacho. I jumped out of my bed, ran to the door and flipped on the light switch. I saw Nacho in the corner of my room frantically pawing behind my file cabinet. After a few seconds of continuous pawing an object fell out from behind the file cabinet. As the object spread it's wings I could plainly see that Nacho had caught a creature of the night. My most feared animal of all...a bat.

Now in 5 months this is the third bat that I have seen in my apartment. 1 flew in through my blind in the summer when I had the window open, but blind closed. That one was found again a day later and escorted out of the apartment. The next one flew through a shut door (still trying to figure that one out) and was captured and let go outside.
