Happy 65th Birthday Muhammad Ali: G.O.A.T. Launches Health Food Snack

Today is the 65th birthday of the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali. His birthday was celebrated by the launch of a product line of health food snacks aimed at the age group 18 to 24. The company brand, G.O.A.T. an acronym for greatest of all time will be in college snack vending machines and on shelves today at Texas A&M, Yale, Georgia Tech, University of Pennsylvania and Ohio State University, according to company officials.

A demonstration of the products was conducted on CNBC's business programming today. The company official indicated the main ingredient is the emphasis on "health foods" that have a good taste. It was confirmed by one of the CNBC reporters that the products have a good taste as opposed to some health food products that may not be tasty. One item demonstrated was a "dill pickle," snack. Everyone seemed in agreement the product tasted fine.

According to a press release, the products are in the shape of a boxing glove and have some great names describing the contents of the snack packs, Rumbles, Shuffles and Jabs. The flavors include "Slammin Salsa, Thrill a Dill-A, and Fruit fight."

Muhammad Ali and his wife live in Michigan and are reported as looking forward in the future to creating more products for the G.O.A.T. company. In a statement reported by Yahoo, Lonnie Ali his wife said, "Muhammad transcends generations." "On a global basis Muhammad is better known than most athletes." Using the image of various celebrities has been very successful in other instances.

Muhammad's lifetime commitment to health and care of his body as well as his philanthropic work around the world lends some credibility to the product persona. Most people view him as an athlete unparalleled in terms of endurance and stamina.
