Shilpa Shetty entered the reality show 'Big Brother' with much hype and received wide coverage in Indian press. Thanks to similar version of the show' Big Boss' aired in India, which has also gained popularity.

Denielle, one of the contestants, refused to touch the chicken made by Shilpa. 'How do Indian eat with their fingers? You don't know where their fingers have been' was the comment of others.

this kind of behaviour reflects that we are going back to the stone age where the word civilisation does not exist...........

I'm not in any way trying to condone what was appalling behaviour by the housemates, but it is important to understand (in the interests of not enflaming an already heated situation), that the word 'paki' was not used as alleged in this article. The word used was actually 'c**t'. As rude as this word undoubtedly is, it is certainly not racist. Nonetheless, the behaviour in the house has been shameful and I hope the British public will not be condemned to severely for it as we are by and large a very tolerant society.
