As weddings are planned, brides turn into........... Bridezilla!!! They stress over each and every detail, they freak if people do not answer the phone after the first ring, they spazz out if the groom attempts to make any decisions. Have no fear, there is a way to conquer Bridezilla and still have the picture perfect wedding! It takes a lot of help, plus some resistance on the part of the bride but it is possible to recruit some good help, and still keep your sanity while having that perfect wedding of your dreams.

Tip #1. Can we say wedding coordinator? If you are a very busy person and can afford this financially a wedding coordinator can be your best friend. They handle the millions of details, and you simply finalize the plans, by confirming the choice of china, flowers, colors, locations and so on. While a wedding coordinator is a sheer miracle saver, they are not cheap. They can be very expensive, but worth the cost especially for the busy bride.

Tip #2. Bridezilla usually has a mother who is happy to help. Recruit your mother to check out some local florists, bakeries, and photographers. Let her help with the footwork and gathering of portfolios, prices, wait lists, and other information as well as a copy of their contract. Then you have saved yourself the time of running around town getting this information. Spend your time instead reviewing the information and interviewing the best candidates for each position. There is no reason, nor rule why you have to get all of this information yourself.

Tip #3. Do not forget about the groom. While most women will say that the groom is not the most fashion savvy, it is not that hard to pick out a tuxedo, find a band, or pick out a reception location. Start delegating some tasks to him! Let him feel as if he is a part of this event, so that he does not feel left out, after all this is his special day as well. Let him work up the guest list, or seating chart. There are dozens of little tasks that the groom can easily handle without needing Bridezilla hovering over his shoulder.
