Easter is just around the corner, and now is the perfect time to begin those festive crafts. Here is a perfect way to showcase a picture of your child or even a poem in these adorable chick and egg photo frames. Parental supervision is needed if this craft is being done by children.

Chick Photo Frame

Supplies:

- One 1" yellow pompom

- One 2" yellow pompom

- Orange pipe cleaners

- One pair googly eyes

- Hot glue gun and glue

- Acrylic paint in a pastel color such as lavender, pink, or blue

- One wooden photo frame with smooth, un-slanted edges.

Step One: Paint the photo frame with the acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry completely, which usually takes no more than an hour.

Step Two: Glue the one inch pompom to the two inch pompom. (This will be the head of the chick.)

Step Three: Glue the pompoms to the upper left corner of the photo frame.

Step Four: Cut the pipe cleaners into two feet and a beak for the chick. Glue onto the pompoms.

Step Five: Stick on the chick's eyes to the one inch pompom.

Step Six: Fill the frame with your favorite Easter photo or poem and enjoy!

Egg Photo Frame

Supplies:

- Several scraps of craft foam in various pastel colors

- Hot glue gun and glue

- Acrylic paint in a pastel color such as lavender, pink, or blue

- One wooden photo frame with smooth, un-slanted edges.

- Any other decorations you wish, such as metallic paint or sequins.

Step One: Paint the photo frame with the acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry completely.

Step Two: With one color of foam and a pencil, draw an oval shape about two inches by two inches square, and cut it out. (This will be the base of your egg.)

Step Three: With the remaining foam scraps, decorate the egg base as you wish. If you have brought any other supplies, such as metallic paint or sequins, you can also use those to decorate the egg base.

Step Four: Hot glue the decorated egg to the upper right corner of the frame, slightly tilted at an angle.

Step Five: Insert a photo into the frame, and proudly enjoy your creation!

TIP: Use these frames to create a wonderful item to showcase and display photos of your child with the Easter Bunny!
