Just because many of us are far past hiding eggs and believing in the Easter Bunny, doesn't me we don't like a basket full of goodies! Here are a few festive ideas for putting together a basket that is enjoyable for friends, family, or clients.- Think Outside The Basket. Don't let the name "Easter basket" fool you! There are many other alternatives available to use, such as a gift box or even a festive handbag or purse. Cigar or hat boxes also make for an interesting but small package to fill with goodies. Be creative!
- Find A Good Base Filler. Plastic grass or biodegradable paper shreds can be purchased at a local store fairly inexpensively. While many recipients will notice the items in the box over the filler, it is still vital. This will serve as your base to place everything on top, and should be selected carefully.
- Start With A Theme. If you're making a basket for a golf enthusiast, select items pertaining to golf, such as tees or a mini-book. If it is for a fashion lover, find items pertaining to that clothing such as a shoe shaped photo frame. Or, create a spa-themed basket with lotions, bubble baths, soaps, and candles. Having a good, solid theme can make it easier to put the basket together, and make it much more memorable!
- Arrange The Items Carefully. Presentation can be everything. Don't just throw the items haphazardly into the basket. Arrange them carefully, and consider adding special touches such as a bow or silk Easter lily or other faux flower to the arrangement.
- What Would Easter Be Without Eggs. Another fun item to add to your Easter basket is plastic eggs! Fill them with candies, fun treats, or other small trinkets such as mini soaps or golf tees. Or, if using the larger variety of plastic eggs, use the egg to disguise a gift card or certificate.
