White House Boys Recall Years of Abuse at Florida Reform School

Reform school stories of abuse are nothing new. They crop up from time to time to remind the general populace that some should not have authority over others, regardless of past indiscretions committed by those others. Such is the case of the century of abuse being

reported by the Associated Press and other news outlets concerning the Dozier School for Boys in Marianna, Florida, where young boys were sent for committing crimes and receiving poor grades.

Calling themselves the "White House Boys," so described because of the shared experience of being taken to the "white house" for beatings while placed at the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys, five men have called for an investigation of unmarked graves behind the school. After a ceremony where the state of Florida admitted to the abuse of those sent to the school and permanently sealed the White House building, the White House Boys described some of the abuses they endured at the hands of those that ran the Dozier School of Boys.

Some of the stories are of acts of outright physical child abuse. Some stories hint at murder. And cover-up.

The graves behind the Dozier School for Boys are headed with crosses without names. The White House Boys believe that some of the graves contain the bodies of children beaten and/or abuse to the point of death during the reform school's 108 years of operation.

Much of the story can be read at thewhitehouseboys.blogspot.com. The site details many abuses and alleged deaths that occurred at the reform school. An account of the act of flogging, a punishment that was outlawed in the state of Florida for men in 1922, exposes the unusually cruel practice being used on boys and young men at the White House until 1967. A veritable torture chamber, being taken to the White House was to be feared because some did not return.

What could get a boy sent to the White House? Talking to a black inmate, saying the wrong thing, or having the wrong facial expression at the wrong time could get one sent to the White House building, which contained two rooms where the beatings and abuses took place. One room was for black inmates, the other for whites.

The "Handprints" have been altered by Kiser the Con, to try and sensationalise his bogus story. Each video gets more fake images and scary music, and the sixth -grade educated, self declared "Writer" RD kiser keeps writing the same book over and over, trying to launch it on self publishing websites.Soon this charade will all come to an end, and the "White Trash Boys" will be silenced.

Rest my case, Parents loose their kids over less and have less rights! not all kids are abused as people think! I hope the ones that turn people in right and left sleep good knowing they could of taken them off to get murdered, raped or beaten.....They have turned it into an occupation...the more they take away the more money they make. They are the ones distroying families. The people who complain about their tax money being wasted should be complaining about this subject..they make tons off of kids. Its now an occupation. Thank you Riverside, california you got my son raped and said I was a danger to him....he was 4 years old..I will fight till I die to stop this......He is over 21 now. You should pay for his emotional problems.

Hello, Merry christmas............why people didnt respond earlier.........times have changed..........computors, internet......helps find people and create communication..........thats why things are now open...............Here today on christmas day I find my son's father in law is also a white house boy from the 50-60 era...........Those little old men that look so sweet are not going to tell the truths that will shame their lives to death..................thank god for many others that are now coming forward that were abused.........Ifs proven some of the abuse still goes on..........and guess what folks....the truth is they make money off your kids and take them away and prove you unfit...........yet they are allowed to murder, beat and rape your kids........I was accused years ago of child endangerment they put my kids in the system and it took me a year to get them back because I was not guilty...........it cost thousands of dollars to pay them back for caring for my kids.....

hi--i'm from tallahassee and my family is from marianna---my grandfather worked as a warden there as well as a mechanic (due to his engineering experience from the navy in WWII) for over 50 years...he turned 95 last week and is a good man. i spoke with him about this and asked him for honesty---he did say some of the worse kids were given some punishment and idle time to think but nothing extreme or illegal went on under his rule. i feel bad for the victims, but i feel as if it's a ploy for money...i mean why in the world did they wait so long to come forward? i'm not defending the alleged actions and if they did occur, it's a travesty but i believe my grandfather and i really would like reporters to get off his front lawn and leave a good man alone.
