If you are a new and inexperienced writer it can be very difficult to deal with negative comments on your articles. Associated Content is definitely a great place for new writers to gain to some experience in writing and to learn how to become a better writer. Unfortunately people who view your comments are very quick to be critical and make nasty remarks. I personally think that reading all of the comments that people write about your articles is very important. Even though you may not like everything that they say about your articles you can't let every negative comment get to you.

First try to see things from their point of view. Sometimes if someone writes something negative about our articles we are very quick to become defensive, and get an attitude ourselves. This is especially the case if we have put a lot of time and effort into the article. Even though some of the criticism may be put in a very harsh way they may have a point. I have found that in some cases, the way I worded a particular phrase may have confused the person reading the articles. Sometimes just changing a sentence around a bit will help to get your main point across. Trying to become a writer is definitely not as easy as many people may think. However if you plan on writing articles for Associated Content or for any other online or offline company, be prepared to have your work criticized. You should also not expect everyone to agree with everything that you have to say.

Takeaways
  • Trying to become a writer is definitely not as easy as many people may think
  • We all make mistakes including experienced writers
  • Even though you may not like everything that they say about your articles you can't let every negative comment get to you.
