Firing Line Shooting Range Hits the Target in North Los Angeles Area

Firing Line is a nice indoor gun range, reasonably priced and being a member allows for free range rentals and gun rentals with your only expense being ammunition and targets. Its core custom base is Security Guard Training and Re-qualification.

They have a nice selection of weapons available for rental which are pretty well maintained. You can bring guests for free. Since many firearms are born of the need for cheap, entry level, single shot guns or rifles, a seond shooter free on the line is a nice bonus.

Gun rental is a huge convenience. Instead of traveling with a firearm or bringing one to work. Most of the single shot market is dominated by expensive stock giants like Ruger and the T/C Contender/Encore family.

These guns can cost upwards of $750-1000 for a basic weapon. That's out of my price range and I am assuming for it is beyond the pocketbook for most people. There is a Handgun Safety Class: (Basic/Beginner) held Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm. The Cost is $50.00 (plus Targets and Ammunition.)

This a small range. No crowds. It's good for a quick refresher or a date. It is a convenient and fun alternative to just lunch. They have updated the facilities. The funny thing is, you'd never dream from the way the building looks from the outside it was a gun range. It's next to a strip of post production facilities and messenger businesses.

The Burbank Firing Line range opened in 1994 serving the Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena areas or North Los Angeles County. They offer a full range of services and products for shooters, hobbyists, law enforcement professionals, or those just wanting to get their feet wet.
