Are Reality Shows Going All-Star?

First Survivor, then Big Brother, and now, The Amazing Race? What is it with these reality shows having All-Stars seasons? What is even the point? I'll get into all that later.

Anyway, a third CBS reality show is having an All-Star season. It has been announced on the CBS Early Show earlier this week, and it is set to premier on Sunday, February 18, just 10 days after Survivor: Fiji. I didn't start watching The Amazing Race until the fourth season; I think that was the season Reichen and Chip won. This team will not be on All-Stars (of course considering the fact that these two are no longer together, and if you don't know that, you've been in a coma). Anyway, the only winners who will be on this season are Uchenna & Joyce from Season 7. Will they win again? Not according to the limited history of reality all-stars seasons, although these two may come pretty close.

Besides Uchenna & Joyce, the other teams are listed as below. For those who will be returning from seasons one through three, I'm only going to list the teams since I did not watch until season four.

From season one, we have Bill & Joe and Kevin & Drew. Danny & Oswald are returning from season two. Season three brings us Teri & Ian and John Vito & Jill.

Wow! No one from season four! Why, I don't know.

Season five of this "race around the world" gives us cousins Charla & Mirna. This was a very competitive team despite Charla's height, so yes these two are worthy of all-star status. We have one team from season nine, and this wasn't even a team in that season! It appears as though one person from two opposing teams have formed a new team! This team is Eric from Eric & Jeremy and Danielle from Dani & Danielle. Eric & Jeremy came in second to B.J. & Tyler in season nine, while Dani & Danielle were the fourth team eliminated. I believe I can sense a competitive spirit in this team.
