Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common ailments in today's society which can affect one in five people in the US. IBS symptoms include bloated stomach, being badly constipated, painful spasms and constant farting. Ok, I used the word "farting", but this is the reality for people who suffer with IBS and I tell it like it is.
Other symptoms include bad breath, a thick white film on your tongue and general embarassment for having to constantly "break wind", is that a better word for "farting".? I will try to be more politically correct.

People who have this ailment have to "let rip" at least 30 times a day as it can be extremely painful to try to hold onto the build-up of wind in their system. Sometimes it can take years of going to your Doctor or even to Hospital to get a correct diagnosis for IBS. Some even have been told that they are hyprocondriacs and there is nothing wrong with them at all. IBS is ususally associated with stress and dieting. So, if you can clear a room when you "break wind", then it is high time that you investigate the reason which is more than likely to be the dreaded IBS.

When people are diagnosed with IBS there are several routes in which can be taken for recovery. Medication, holistic treatment, alternative therapies, acupuncure etc., These can be exhausting and depending on the severity of your IBS, can be a waste of time and highly distressing. So, I have come up with a case study of very alternative treatment which actuall works for even the most severe cases of IBS. Ok, so it may be a little off the known path but if you are doubled-up with cramps, remember to give this a try.

Takeaways
  • It is not uncommon for people with IBS to be riddled with worms
  • A daily coffee enema works wonders for your digestive system
Did You Know?
If you can clear a room when you break wind then it is time for you to investigate whether you have IBS

This Website is full of shit....I've had ibs for awhile now and doing those things i can see would make you feel better but anybody that has ibs knows that the symptoms come and go. Even if you follow what this says exactly it's just going to come right back and you'll have to do it all over again.

What? Having IBS doesn't make you "fart" all the time. I don't know anyone with IBS who does. Gas problems are not automatically equal to uncontrollable wind breaking. I thought this article was a joke at first.

I can't imagine seeing worms in your 'poo' in the toilet, that would just freak me out. What would you do? Reach down take a sample, and bring it to the doctors office and ask them if you need to be de-wormed? I'm not making fun, I'm serious. What kind of treatment do people have to go through to get rid of worms? I know my dog had worms when I was a kid and it could have killed him, is the same thing true for humans? If people are walking around not knowing they have worms, seems to me doctors should be doing routine checks to find out, when they come in for IBS symptoms. Can you tell the thought of worms has totally icke me out? lol

It took me only 2 months at a high stress job to experience some symptoms of IBS. Thankfully I wasn't breaking wind all the time LOL But then again that was the problem. My stomach hurt so bad at times I would almost pass out, seriously. Right after I left that job the symptoms went away. It's scary what stress can do.
