Camp Poyntelle-Lewis Village are two camps on the same grounds. Camp Poyntelle is for students up to grade seven. Lewis Village is for students in grades eight through eleven. By having this separation, it allows the older students to foster their own independence and takes out some of the possible friction between the association of the much older and much younger campers.

Campers live in bunks with their fellow group mates in newly renovated shacks. All traditional amenities including, showers, toilets, and what not are right in the shack with the campers. Don't be turned off by the word shack! The shacks are actually quite nice and are designed to be weather impervious, so no need to worry about rain. Further, should their be a problem, help is less than a stone's throw away; about 10-13 campers and 4 counselors live together in each shack.

Supervision falls to amazing counselors from High School to College Age. And then a college graduate is in charge of each division making sure that your child gets the highest level of care. All kinds of kids come to Camp Poyntelle-Lewis Village despite the fact that it is a "Jewish Camp". Its outdoor set-up appeals to a lot of parents and its relatively cheap price appeals to others.
