Lost in Thought

In the darkness of my quiet world
My thoughts and feelings come unfurled
My dreams await reality
The world, for a short time, belongs to me.

As shadows creep across the sky
And play small tricks in the corner of my eye
What I see, is it really there
Do I want to know..do I really care?

No, it's only a mindless game
In place where no one has a name
There's no vision, no hope, no goal
No one is living, no one has a soul.

No one dares to come inside
So, for me, it's the perfect place to hide
Look all you want, but you'll never find
Where I hide within my mind.
Where I'll hide inside my mind.
