You want to keep your car humming smoothly and you are not aware of any major oil slicks on your garage floor. It is a Saturday and "oil change" tops your chore list. If you live in the DFW MidCities, you  have many choices of service and places to take your car. This article will examine three establishments and offer suggestions on your use of time and money .

The first garage to pull into is the Auto Lube Center, located at 235 Harwood, Bedford Texas. This small, three slot garage always has a fresh pot of coffee and some donuts to welcome visitors to its waiting room. It is clean and there are plenty of workers springing into action surrounding your car. Their ten minute oil change is timely and accurate. A young man below is emptying the oil and changing the filter. Above ground, youth are checking tire pressure, looking at the air filter, refilling windshield wiper fluid and checking off general maintenance items. They make suggestions on the condition of your air filter or they blow it out for continued use. Your oil choice is pumped fresh into the car as you make your payment. Fast, friendly service. Auto Lube definitely does its oil specialty well. Branching into State Inspection is another story. Their machine is usually down and they reluctantly recommend the Firestone group next door. However, for an oil change, the price and service are exemplary.

Your article on Oil Changes is amusing. Let me get see if I got this. If I want free coffee and donuts, and want youths working near my car. I go to one place. If I want to wait a little longer and get a more experienced person that suggests repairing a problem that may be developing I go to another place. Or, if I want a dealer deal, go to the dealer. By the way, if my air filter is dirty, I dont want some kid blowin it out. If it has so much dirt in it it can be blown out, change it. Who wrote this atricle? Jack Benny? Next time find someone with some mechanical background to write the article.
