Lady-Killer Ted's Date with Monique

Valentines Day Challenge

There are some people who are naturally gifted with the fairer sex and dating with our friend Ted being one who was more than fairly successful with them. Ted never had any problems with getting dates on any day of the week. With being 5'10" and well built with the perfect V torso and abs
of steel, Ted could have any pick of the women at his business office and more so. This lead to his nickname "Lady Killer". The problem with Ted didn't lie in his looks or his brains for that matter. But what got Ted into trouble this time was his cocky attitude he developed towards the opposite sex. "I can get any woman I want and just about any woman would kill to get me as her man", was Ted's mantra that we normal men had to listen to on a day to day basis as well as Ted's exploits in and out of the bedroom

And so this went on day in and day out for what seemed like an eternity. Then one day, on Valentines' Day to be exact, a woman walked into the office who turned just about every male eye in the place with Ted being no exception. Monique was her name and beautiful rich was her game; being widowed from a multimillionaire she needed to do some investing. Our friend Ted just about clobbered every executive to get to Monique. Monique was polite but requested someone else to handle her affairs. She didn't say why but she gave the impression she was uncomfortable with Ted.

Ted ,being the competitive man that he was , didn't like to take no for an answer, but after Monique insisted that another investor handle her investment account he let another executive handle her business transaction.
When Monique was ready to leave Ted all but begged Monique for a date. Ted really didn't like to take "no" for an answer and his pride was really at stake with being shot down at work for a business deal and a date with everyone in sight watching. "C'mon honey, just dinner or movie. I'm not all that bad."

"I know you're not all that bad", was Monique's response, "It's just that you remind me of my dead husband Kent, and although it's been more than a year since his untimely death I still don't know if I'm ready to move on yet."
