The social networking website known as Myspace is becoming virtually well known throughout the world. Every day more and more people feed into this quickly growing phenomenon. Being the curious person that I am I decided to try it for myself to see just what all the hype was about. It did not take long for me to realize that Myspace was unlike any other social networking website currently available on the World Wide Web.

What makes Myspace different from other social networking websites you ask? If you were to ask this question to multiple people who enjoy Myspace I am positive you will receive varying answers. For me the answer to that question was simple, it was having the ability to show off your individuality by decorating your profile page with a layout. Upon registering with Myspace you are given a profile page which at first glance is very basic to say the least. However; every person has the opportunity to make their page reflect their likes, dislikes, or general personality through the layouts they choose for their page.

You are probably wondering just what is a layout and where do I get one. A layout is basically customized HTML with CSS (cascading style sheets) scripts that are added to your profile page to spruce up the overall look to the page. Confused? Don't be! There are many websites that offer premade layouts for you to choose from. If you do not like the premade layouts that you find you can always use a website that offers a layout generator to make your own. If you are experienced in HTML and CSS, you can even make a DIV overlay layout. I am going to talk about my favorite websites where you can find premade layouts, layout generators, and even touch on DIV layouts.
