Everytime I see an article with the words "confessions of" in a the title, I admit, I have to stop and read it. I am curious by nature, and like to see glimpses of how other people really think. Based on the high ratings and popularity of these type of articles, I can see I am not the only one who likes a little truth now and then.

Truth is one of the most compelling aspects of art and writing. Think about artistic works that have touched you. They held some truth to them, even if the truth was not your own.

And what are we all confessing about? Addiction, chocolate, food, identity, work, writing, and youth.

I keep wishing I had a list of all the Confessions articles, so I decided to interrupt my other writing and compile the list. Second-hand confessional accounts are not included.

So here, they are, grouped by subject, for your reading pleasure.

Indulge yourself in some confessions....

Chocolate

Food (Non-Chocolate)

Revealing confessions and secrets can be cathartic and you might help someone else in the same situation.

Is blenderize a word? Will blenderize turn up in a dictionary? Will M&M's melt in your hand if you're running a fever in winter?

I asked for it to be pulled. I followed the latest AC guidelines on including URLs. Something is amiss. Something is awry. I don't know why. Hopefully someone is around tonight and I can fix it somehow. Sorry everyone. I guess these confessions are trying to remain secret!

I agree - completely "blenderized". What a shame.

Yikes! I think this is a wondeful idea for an article, I just wish AC hadn't blenderized your article and links! Thanks for collecting all of these articles in one place. Great job!
