When it comes to Texas hold’em there are a million online places to play but not all of them meet the standards for us real hold’em players. If you want good play with an easy interface and great environment then the number of online sites is narrowed down to two websites. The best two websites are pokerroom.com and partypoker.com.

Out of these sites my favorite is pokerroom.com, they have the best graphics and so many different games to play and you can download and install their software to your machine. Their website is easy to navigate and very user friendly. Actually holdempoker.com ripped off the graphics from pokerroom.com, which as a web developer I don’t like that at all but I don’t blame them, pokeroom.com has the edge in the graphics department.

Pokerroom offers Pokah School to teach the new players the rules of the games so they can be more affective while playing and not slow down the game for the experienced players. Pokerroom also gives you the option to have what they call a pokah page with your biography and photo. Also they allow users to post in a forum and have a lot of information on their website that I enjoy. It allows you to interact with other players and learn the game. I also like how the site separates the games into levels of cost. And my favorite is the tournament play; this is the best place to play tournaments.

At pokerroom you can play with real money or with play money it’s up to you. They do offer rooms for you gamblers but I tend to stay away from online gambling there are too many scams run by people that could potentially rip you off. But if you like you can try it and who knows you might be able to win some fast cash.

Pokerroom gets a five chip rating, stellar graphics (so good they were stolen), great game play, so many tables to choose from, and bio pages and forums make this the best site around. With both a web based environment and the ability to install the game on your machine makes this by far the best and easiest poker site to use.

that sounds like a scam to me I havent ever had that happen but have had disconnections when i had good hands that were eventually folded because i couldnt connect in time. I wonder if they have a preference matrix built into their system that gives players that spend more money with them better chances and gives players who win more money disconnection problems....would be something a governing body would have to look into but i dont think there is much in the way of governance over online poker...that sucks

This is the last of three comments- Read from bottom up. I was able to play the game with no other difficulties before or after the two pop up incidents, so I really don't think it was any problem from my connection. I believe it was a problem with Pacific Pokers system that is being denied.

here is rest of response from Pacific Poker- It is not possible to ascertain where you may have been placed had you not been disconnected and any refund that we make would only reflect the cost of the Buy-In to the relevant Tournament. I can't assure you that you will not be disconnected from Pacific Poker again Richard, if we find that we are responsible for any disconnections, please be advised that Pacific Poker will offer compensation immediately, but as the internet is not 100% reliable our members have to accept that the majority of disconnections are beyond our control, we can not be held responsible for any disconnections that may occur out with our own systems.

Last night in a 50k game at Pacific Poker, I was doing quite well after the first couple hours and figured that I would place well up in the money. I got pocket kings, which I raised and had two callers. We had a low card flop and I went to go all in, when a pop up came and when I closed it and went back to betting all in, I was folded. I still had time, but could do nothing. Later in the game, I had pocket sevens and a similar thing happened with me trying to go all in and a pop up coming and me not being allowed to bet- being folded with almost all my money in. I am extremely upset by this happening and by the lack of responsibility for it on the part of Pacific Poker. Below is a copy of the email correspondence between Pacific Poker and myself. The most recent on top. Dear Richard, Thanks for contacting Pacific Poker. Richard, I can assure you that the "Pop Ups" do not cause disconnections from Pacific Poker and that there are no "glitches" in the software. It i
