One of the easiest Easter party foods is one you may remember when you were a kid. Making a cute bunny face out of a packaged Hostess "SnoBall" pastry is fun for kids and grown-ups! Find a packaged "SnoBall" type pastry at the grocery store. (Right next to the Twinkies!) These are pretty common and shouldn't be too hard to find. They are often pink or white and covered with a coconut layer and usually they come in a package of two. Inside this delicious treat you'll find a chocolate cake filled with a marshmallow cream center. This SnoBall becomes the round face of the bunny. The SnoBall should sit quite well on a plate of colorful Easter basket "grass" or shredded coconut. Also think about placing the snowball on a plate of lettuce, shredded carrots or spinach leaves and place candy Easter eggs among the greenery. Be sure to place the SnoBall right in the center of the plate.

Now it's time to decorate and have fun! First use black licorice sticks (the really thin ones) as whiskers. Take a sharp knife or scissors and cut long, thin strips from the licorice stick and attache those to the snowball face. Leave room for a pink jellybean nose to be pushed right in between the whiskers. Use little "Red Hots" candy as the pink eyes of the bunny. Save some black licorice for adding more touches later. The ears can be made from paper or cardboard. Just cut out ear-shaped pieces and gently push those into the snowball face too.

Did You Know?
Is it the marshmallow inside the 'SnoBall' that makes it so yummy? Egyptians made marshmallows as early as 2000 BC. The French made the confection even better and perfected its preparation. Today we eat 90 million pounds of marshmallows a year.
