Myspace Layouts and Tips

The greatest tip I could give about Myspace layouts would be to use them, and use them wisely! But you have to be careful, because although there are many sites who offer you a vast variety of different layouts to choose from, there are some sites who are prone to have spammers!

I know when I first started my account with Myspace, the network offered you the advantage to use sites in which they trust. You can then begin setting up the look and feel of your account while starting it up, through these trusted sites. I've found that many layouts work very well for your image, and if chosen properly, your profile will attract many new visitors and friends.

It's best to get a layout which offers you not only space to apply even more attractions to your profile, but it's also best to add music and plenty of pictures to your profile; Maybe a game or two and videos won't hurt either.

The first layout I had, was full of blocked borders, such as-they had these borders around the sections. You can customize that; And make all sorts of changes and custom designs to your layout. Once you select and copy the embedded code, paste it into a section for your edited profile section; and once it's been pasted, you can make changes to it. Say for instance, if you're like me, and don't like my sections sectioned off by borders or lines, blocked centers, you can delete the borders, and add extra color to your text. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be changing your layout almost everyday!...It gets almost addictive.

Try to choose layouts that represent you, and what you would like people to know about you; If you like sports, there are a lot of choices you can make, and if you don't like them, change them. But first and foremost, you have to delete the old layout code before you enter another one! This is very important, because if you don't you'll end up with a mixture of the both, or either none at all!

Another good point is that you have to be careful of the content that you have on your profile as well! Myspace does not allow nudity, and pornographic images...although, I've seen my share of them, and believe me, your account will be deleted for such graphics!
