Natural Cures for Indigestion

If you like tea you can try some herbal tea for indigestion. One such herbal tea in mint tea, it is easy to make and has a pleasant smell and taste. Mint tea can relieve you of indigestion and discomfort of the stomach. If you want to make mint tea just add a tablespoon of dried mint to a cup of boiling water and let it steep for ten minutes. Then strain out the mint from the water and you have mint tea left in the cup. You can drink mint tea several times a day for relief of indigestion.
Drinking a soda can help you feel better if you are having indigestion. Cola is a known cure for indigestion but some people prefer a white soda to combat their indigestion because it is milder then cola is.
Baking soda can help you feel better if you have indigestion. You can take half a teaspoon of baking soda and a few drops of lemon juice in a half cup of warm water. Drink it slowly and see if it helps you feel better. If you are vomiting with your indigestion leave out the lemon juice.
If you have diarrhea you can take a small glass of water and add a pinch of corn starch to the water. Stir the corn starch and water and drink it up immediately. If you still have diarrhea you can repeat the corn starch and water. Do not drink the corn starch and water more then three times in a day.
If you have an intestinal infection you can try to have garlic. Garlic is an old and much used aid for a wide variety of intestinal disorders. Garlic can stimulate digestion. If you feel garlic may be good for what is ailing you try to add a clove or two of garlic to your cooking. Garlic can help minor upset stomach.
If you have problems with gas you can try to chew on candied ginger, fennel, caraway, or dill seeds after a meal. Indigestion is often accompanied by gas.
