While looking for some fun and interesting ideas for Easter crafts I found some great projects that you make with food! My children love being in the kitchen and 'cooking' so these projects were right up our alley.

If your children enjoy making a mess, I mean cooking as much as mine do, you would all enjoy these ideas as well.

Jell-O Beans

To make Jell-O beans you will need the following items:

- 1 large package of Jell-O ( 8 serving size box) or 2 Small packages (you can use different colors and prepare separately for a variety of colors.
- 1 ¼ cup of boiling water or juice(parents or adult should handle boiling and/or hot water)
- Vegetable cooking spray or vegetable oil
- Jell-O bean mold

First you will boil your water. While your water is boiling you will spray your Jell-O bean mold with the cooking spray or you can use a paper towel and coat the mold with the vegetable oil. Set molds on a tray.

Pour your Jell-O into the boiling water and stir, let it dissolve about 3 minutes. This is a step a parent or adult should handle so your child does not accidentally burn themselves.

Pour hot Jell-O into the molds, another step an adult or parent should do to avoid any possible accidents and burns. (a syringe or medicine dropper could work well to fill the molds)

Refrigerate the molds for 30 minutes. Once they are firm tilt the mold on an angle and use moist fingertips gently scoop the beans out of the mold.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

One Bowl Easter Egg Brownies

You will need the following ingredients to make the One Bowl Easter Egg Brownies:

- 4 squares of unsweetened baking chocolate
- ¾ cup or 1 ½ sticks of margarine or butter
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of flour
-1 teaspoon of vanilla
-3 eggs
-1 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
-assorted decorating gels
-assorted candies

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil, with the ends of the foil extending over the sides of the pan. Grease the foil.
