Dreaming is something everyone does even if some of us are unable to remember once we are awake. They can be a way to relieve stress from things that happen in our waking life, our subconscious may be foretelling of
something that may happen soon, while other dreams may seem to have no reason. They occur for many different reasons and this is why most seek interpretation for their dreams. As you lookup some of the meanings of the things in your dream you may feel that you don't think they fit in your life. But there are ways to interpret your dreams so that they do apply to your life.
The first thing to do before you begin to interpret your dream is to write down everything you can remember from the dream. Try to start at the beginning and go in the order that they appeared in your dream. This is very important because we have more than one dream through out our sleep. Sometimes you may remember more than one and feel they were part of the same dream. Write down the place you are at, colors of things, people involved, what is said, and so on.
Take careful notes on the people in your dreams and your feelings for them during the dream. As you dream you may see a person that doesn't't look familiar but you may feel this person is someone you know and call him or her by name. The reason this happens is to help you deal with this person in a way you may find more desirable or in a way that you feel suits this person best. This is not to say you don't like this person the way they appear in real life, it's just a different way for your subconscious to get your attention about the person. The dream could be telling you that you should look at the person in a different way than you have before, the person could be a great person that you have never given credit to before or they could actually be the complete opposite of what you originally thought.
