HHO Fuel Facts
HHO, commonly referred to as hydrogen fuel cells or 'water4gas', is a fairly new technology in which the consumer subsidizes running their car on fuel with powering their car via a HHO fuel-cell. Until recently this
was a do-it-yourself homemade project however within the last year major companies have begun to sell HHO fuel cell kits online and in auto parts stores. If you have heard about HHO fuel but want to learn some more facts before making a purchase yourself then you came to the right place. Here are some HHO fuel facts:
- A HHO fuel kit, which still requires you to run on gasoline, cuts your gas consumption by approximately 50% with only the cost of a little tap water once a month.
- Some speculate that as many as 100,000 cars, trucks and SUVs in the United States alone run on HHO fuel cell technology in combination with traditional gasoline to reach these kind of savings.
- In Norway approximately 20% of all households incorporate some sort of hydrogen fuel cell technology into the powering of their appliances or vehicles.
- In incorporated European union countries HHO fuel cells make up slightly over 0.5% of all vehicles on the road. When you take into account the massive numbers of total vehicles in Europe this is a staggering figure.
- It is estimated that somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,500 people a day, globally, convert their existing car to the gasoline hydrogen hybrid through the use of HHO fuel-cell kits.
- Cars designed and running exclusively on Hydergine technology put off water as their only emission and therefore are the most environmentally friendly form of transportation aside from human power such as riding a bike.
- Hydrogen fuel cells have been around for more than 150 years but have only been catching on in noteworthy numbers within the last two years.
