I love Starbucks (I know, I know. I'm soooooo original). Someone hooked onto the notion that gourmet coffee can soothe the soul of millions of needy Americans, and turned it into a fabulous success. The Cafe Mocha melts me into a pool of bliss in the wintertime, and the Java Chip Frappuccino is the summertime treat that cools my irritating moments. I buy Starbucks brand coffee (at Wal-Mart, because I'm poor and not sophisticated enough to be above Wal-Mart Starbucks) and a steamy cup of it is my daily retreat. Every stay-at-home mom should do it-it's the ultimate answer to "what great thing should I do with nap-time?" I'm drinking a cup of Espresso Roast right now, in my red mug with the white polk-a-dots that I won't let anyone else use. But I'm not really writing about whether or not Starbucks is good. I'm writing about another issue entirely: my husband has to buy my Starbucks.

Good for you! You have a fear, but you won't let it get in the way of the important things. I think as necessity requires it, you will have to face this more and more often, and as a result, the fears will subside a little. Don't despair! :)

There must be something about those April babies that causes timidness. Especially those that God puts out in front of people. Maybe He laughs a little with the angels and says, " Hey watch this, I'm going to give this one a great gift of singing so that she will need to share it with and in front of others." Or maybe He wants to show that He is bigger than our human weaknesses.

Sadly the condition gets worse as you get older, I myself love to order pizza online, have the kids or the spouse pay the delivery guy at the door. But I love that starbucks.... Maybe a post-it with the order printed on it neatly, the cashier can think i'm deaf...

I hear ya Jessica, except my phobia concerning Starbucks is because I didn't start drinking coffee until a year or so ago. Hearing peoples' elaborate drink orders in front of me freaked me out. lol. A Tall, Grande, Venti, nonfat, iced, hot, mocha, caramel, frappawhat? Oy. So complicated.
