In a press release issued yesterday, officials at the Virtual Stock Exchange (VSTEX) announced the completion of their ambitious New Headquarters Project.

In a project headed by Solidea/Builders In Second Life, designers and architects Mila Tatham and Rodroguez Imako built an entirely new main building and refurbished the island.

"The island now tells about us, who we are and where we do come from," Samantha Goldflake, VSTEX Communication and Public Relations Director said in the official company statement, "The island speaks about our roots, our mediterranean culture; the island speaks about values and old traditions going from generation to generation, from the oldest to the newest ones. Our new HQ has been extablished in a medieval complex, with the interiors restructured to accomodate our needs. The new auditorium is a good example of the transition between the "old age" and the "new age", where one does not win over the other, but both stand by side by side allowing to have the best of both worlds. The most modern part of the new island is the welcome area. Modern yet integrated with the island and the surroundng sea. For our ancestors, the sea has been crucial to commerce and more than that. For a country like ours, a peninsula, sea is almost like blood. You don't live without it. We're proud of our new island and being all of the Vstex Company products 100% made out of Italian creativity, we're happy to salute the Italian builders of Solidea as the ones who helped us to show that we Italians can compete side by side with the most skilled people from all over the world and share the results of our skills with everyone."
